SharingSA is the Home Sharing Association for South Africa (HSASA).
The objective of the Association is to form a members network that is representative and inclusive of all home sharers across South Africa. HSASA lobbies, negotiates and sets policies with local Government, advocating for home sharing across various neighbourhoods in South Africa.
Founded by Corina Rosca and Christine da Silva in 2017, who had mentored and guided the Airbnb Community in Cape Town since 2015 as official Host Ambassadors and, in 2017 formed the Home Sharing Association to a wider, more inclusive community of home-sharers and platforms.
The goal of the Association is that through home sharing, to create and inspire a movement of collaboration between neighbourhoods and cities and together work towards social change.
